DIY Floral Pumpkin Centerpiece

Sharing is caring!

I love Halloween. The fall air, spooky decor, hot cider, and pumpkins galore! I wanted to bring the pumpkins inside this year, so I made a DIY floral pumpkin centerpiece.

I actually decided to make two different pumpkin centerpieces. This one, using a real pumpkin, and one using a plastic pumpkin.

These would make perfect fall or Thanksgiving centerpieces. As would this succulent pumpkin!

Who doesn’t love having pumpkins in their house? And this DIY is so simple.

All you need for this floral pumpkin centerpiece is a pumpkin and some flowers. I picked up a bouquet of flowers from Sprouts.

You could definitely hunt your yard for flowers though. Sunflowers or hydrangeas would look beautiful bunched together in this pumpkin.

Just cut your pumpkin open, scoop out all the guts, put a cup in to hold water, and then arrange your flowers.

I recommend using a paper or styrofoam cup so that you can just throw the whole thing away. To keep your pumpkin from molding as quickly you can soak it in a bleach solution after removing all the goop.
