I find that my days go smoother when I am grateful everyday. Raising two little kids is definitely trying. On any given day I feel like I might lose it.
To help combat this, I’ve done a couple things. One, is spending more time in the Bible everyday.
The second, is trying to take time for myself. Sometimes this just means a shower. Other times it means getting out of the house for a bit. Or just sitting in silence.
The third thing I’ve done is trying to be grateful everyday. I find this to be an especially important task on the hard days.
The days when the kids won’t stop screaming and fighting. The days when I’m physically exhausted from carrying around two toddlers.
These are the days that I need to remind myself of all the good I have in my life. And there are so very many good things!
So I made myself this printable so that I could write one thing down every day that I am thankful for. I like being able to look back over the month and see all the great things.
Like sleepy little cuddles, hot showers, date nights, or mommy I love you your while heart. It makes those hard days a little easier and reminds me that this momming thing is pretty amazing.
