I don’t know about you, but bathing Bugs in the bath for the first time was pretty anxiety-inducing. I was hopeful that once he started sitting up bathtime would get easier. But it didn’t. I was so nervous that he would slip and fall. Our bathtub has a door on it and it made it difficult to reach the entire tub. I needed a toddler bathtime hack desperately.
Then I remembered something that I had saw before I was pregnant. You take a laundry basket and place it in the tub. And that’s it! It made my life so much easier. I wasn’t worried about Bugs crawling all over the tub out of my reach and it helped to curb my anxiety a little bit. He’s since grown out of needing the laundry basket. But it definitely made bathtime easier for a few months!
