Have you seen that meme that says something along the lines of “Adulthood is saying, “But after this week things will slow down a bit” over and over until you die.” Sometimes life really does feel like that.

Especially during the summer, and back to school time, and the holidays. You know what? That’s basically the whole year.

And I know I’m not the only one who doesn’t remember stuff if it’s not written down right in front of me. I can put it on a digital calendar, but that’s not really going to help me.

So I created this weekly calendar that I can print off and hang in the center of our home to always remember what’s going on this week. Every Sunday I fill it out and it helps me to be more prepared for the week ahead.

Erasable Weekly Calendar

I had a dry erase calendar that I really liked, but it was too small for what I needed. I looked everywhere for a calendar that would be big enough, fit in the space I already had, and wasn’t outrageously expensive. I couldn’t find one. So I created this one instead.

I really liked the erasability of the other calendar. Things change, and I don’t want to have to use a new one every week. So I used my laminator and laminated the weekly calendar. I can use dry erase markers and erase now.

But my favorite, is using sharpie. The sharpie is thiner so it looks nicer and I can go over it with a dry erase marker to erase. I then use some alcohol to clean it up and it’s good as new.

Over time it will probably start not cleaning up as well. But for zero dollars, I’m very happy with it!
