Halloween Drink for Kids – Ghoulish Lemonade

Sharing is caring!

I was looking for a super scary halloween drink for kids. But have you ever noticed all the themed drinks have alcohol in them? Or a whole lot of sugar?

Well, I have! I wanted to make a special toddler friendly drink for our Halloween Countdown. But my toddler isn’t into juices and we don’t give him sodas.

So this limits a lot what he can have. I wanted something that I could put some fruit in, because he loves fruit.
So I came up with this Ghoulish Lemonade. I’ll be honest, he’d never had Lemonade, so I wasn’t sure how it was going to go.

But he loved it! He was really excited about the ice cubes with blueberries in them too.

John and I also loved this drink. It was sooo good! If you want to make it alcoholic, you could easily add in some vodka and it would still be delicious!

Notes

Toddler Lemonade:

  • Add one of each ice cube flavor, a splash of sparkling lemonade, and then fill glass with water. The same general flavor with way less sugar!
  • We served this ghoulish lemonade up for one of our Halloween Countdown activities. So delicious!

I love that this halloween drink for kids doesn’t have a ton of sugar in it, which make it perfect for toddlers. They still feel like they’re getting a treat. But they won’t go crazy with sugar!
