Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I figured the perfect theme for this week would be ‘Lucky’. I obviously had to find something green and something that would be considered lucky if you found it. Luckily, I didn’t have to go far to find the perfect thing. I have been working in our backyard lately to try get it under control and pretty for summer. So basically that just means I’ve been picking a lot of weeds. I love this time of year because everything is blooming, unfortunately that means the weeds pop up faster than I can pick them all.
But on one of those days picking weeds, I noticed we have clovers in our backyard. Out of all the weeds we get these are the least annoying. They stay close to the ground, and I actually think they are look good as ground cover. So I haven’t been picking them. But if I’m honest, I also haven’t been picking them because I was kind of curious to see if a four leaf clover would grow! (And because let’s face it, why pick weeds if you don’t have to). I’ve never seen a four leaf clover, so I thought it would be awesome if one grew in my own backyard! But, after a few weeks of letting them grow, I have seen no four leaf clovers.
Even though I haven’t seen any four leaf clovers, I’d still say I’m pretty lucky. I have a wonderful husband, a crazy dog that loves squeaky toys, and a pretty nice home. I hope you have a lucky St. Patty’s day as well. Let me know of the luck that comes to you this day or just about why your lucky in the comments 🙂
