I love making homemade baby food. I want to know exactly what goes into my baby’s food.
But I also want the food to be really easy to make. Some recipes are so difficult and I don’t have time for that!
I have an almost three year old and a 9 month old and I work from home. So I can’t be spending all day in the kitchen for only one batch of food!
I love these recipes because they are easy to make and don’t have a lot of ingredients. I can steam all the fruits and veggies in one go as well and don’t have to separate them.
And they taste good! My baby loves them and I don’t gag if I actually have to eat the food as well. You know babies love sharing!
Little Miss has loved nursing since we brought her home. We are now going strong at almost 9 months, and while I’m super happy about that I’m also tired!
This girl still wants to nurse every 3ish hours mostly day or night. Some nights, I get lucky and get a 5 hour stint.
So I’m all about starting her on real food! Here are some of my favorite quick and easy baby food recipes and some baby led weaning recipes.
Homemade Baby Food
These eggs are perfect for any growing baby! With zucchini and spinach to really make sure they get all the nutrients!
Bugs and John both love Apple Sauce. And Little Miss seems to be taking quite a liking to it too! I love this quick and easy recipe using the instant pot.
This recipe even has how to create your own homemade pumpkin puree!
I absolutely love making sweet potato puree! This recipe is great for the whole family. Just don’t puree all the sweet potato! And its so easy to freeze too and always comes out great.
Baby Led Weaning
Egg and dairy free pancake recipe that can also be gluten-free! Since we’re pretty sure Little Miss has a dairy allergy we’ve really been enjoying these pancakes.
I’ve really been trying to find things that the whole family can eat together. These burgers are perfect for all of us!
Another recipe that the whole family is sure to love!
Little Miss hasn’t had nuts yet, but I assure you once she does we will be making this recipe! Bugs is obsessed with pancakes, and I’d love for his favorite breakfast to have a little more health filled veggies in it!
